The Royal College of Music (RCM) is seeking an experienced musician and educator to take on the role of Head of Postgraduate Taught Programmes.

You will have extensive experience of teaching music in higher education, in any area which may include performance or composition teaching. You will have a track record of programme leadership in higher education, including curriculum design and review. You will understand the ways in which learning and teaching in higher education is evolving, and you will bring innovative ideas for learning enhancement and innovation in the conservatoire.

An excellent communicator, you will have the skills to work collaboratively with students and colleagues to enhance the PGT student experience. You will understand the diverse needs and ambitions of postgraduate students in the conservatoire, and you will be committed to developing inclusive teaching and assessment practices for all students.

Working in collaboration with the Director of Programmes, the Head of Undergraduate Programmes and the Head of Research, you will make an important contribution to the future of postgraduate education at the College.
