Sligo County Council has announced an open invitation for qualified individuals to apply for the position of Creative Ireland Community Engagement Officer. This role aims to contribute to the Creative Ireland Programme which strives to improve access to, engagement with, and enjoyment of Ireland’s rich culture and creativity.

The Creative Ireland Programme operates on the principles of collaboration and partnership, emphasizing the significance of creativity across various domains, including the arts, culture, heritage, and creative industries. As part of the Culture and Creativity team, the appointed Creative Ireland Community Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role in fostering proactive engagement with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Creative Ireland Co-Ordinator within Sligo County Council, assuming responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective connections with relevant directorates and personnel. This role presents an opportunity to contribute actively to the advancement of the Creative Ireland Programme’s goals and objectives.
