Chamber Music on Valentia

Chamber Music on Valentia

Friday, 16 August 2019, 1.00pm

Valentia Island is the ideal setting for a Chamber Music Festival, being small and intimate yet spectacularly beautiful and blessed with an array of unique venues. Now celebrating its 6th season Chamber Music on Valentia, extends to 4-days and draws together musicians from across the globe, programmed by Artistic Director, pianist Mary Dullea.

Throughout the day we are presenting a wonderful range of performances from a programme of 'Fairytales and Fauré' in the glorious Glanleam House, to the one-woman opera Vicky and Albert featuring gifted mezzo-soprano Anna Prowse. Irish composer Karen Power will also be featured with sound installations of her work which reside in the natural world and brings the sounds of the Amazon to Valentia
