The Reid School of Music at Edinburgh College of Art, The University of Edinburgh is offering a part-time position for a Teaching Fellow in Musicology for Screen. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months starting from January 2024. The role comprises 28 hours per week (0.8 FTE) with a salary range of £37,099 - £44,263 per annum pro rata. The role requires candidates to have a PhD in music and prior experience in teaching in higher education.

Responsibilities will include leading core teaching and marking for undergraduate and postgraduate courses focused on music for screens. The selected candidate will also participate in course administration, assessment, and individual project supervision. The role demands a demonstrable commitment to the principles of decolonisation as well as diversity, equality, and inclusion in higher education. Interviews are scheduled for October 2024, and the application deadline is 19th September 2023. International workers must evidence their right to work in the UK for this role.
