The Orchestra of Opera North is currently seeking an experienced and motivated musician to assume the role of Section Principal Double Bass. Applicants should ideally possess knowledge of the operatic repertoire.

The annual salary for this position is £43,842. Auditions are scheduled for 6th and 13th November 2023. Applicants are advised to submit their applications early, as selections will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional auditions may be organised in early 2024 if necessary. The audition process will consist of two rounds. The initial round will be screened, and those progressing to the second round will be assessed on the same day of their first audition.
