RIAM Livestream Violin Masterclass with Daniel Rowland

This Thursday 7th May, acclaimed soloist, chamber musician, and RIAM International Visiting Artist, Daniel Rowland, will work with third level students from the Royal Irish Academy of Music in a Livestream Violin Masterclass via Facebook Live. Students will perform from their various social distancing locations in Ireland and abroad, under Daniel's guidance.

Masters student, Erin Hennessey, will perform the first movement of Mozart's Concerto No 4 with Beyer cadenza; Final year Bachelor in Music Performance student, Shahab Coohe, will perform Peteris Vasks' Violin Concerto 'Distant Light'; Third year Bachelor in Music Performance student, Inana Garis, will perform the first movement of Brahms' Violin Concerto; and Postgraduate Recital Artist, Jisun Min, will perform Eugène Ysaÿe's Violin Sonata in D Minor, Op. 27, No. 3, 'Ballade'.

The masterclass will be followed by a Q&A session led by student interview panelists, second year Bachelor in Music Performance student and cellist, Peadar Ó Loinsigh; and third year Bachelor in Music Performance student and violinist, Jenna Ragget.
