Argentine guitarist Gustavo Ecclesia and friends in concert with songs from Argentina including chacarera, zamba & tango
Introducing an exciting concert with an eccletic programme of Argentine folk music and tango songs with Gustavo Ecclesia who is a singer, songwriter and guitarist born in Argentina and based in Dublin.
Gustavo has an edited album of original songs and is currently finishing his second album. He is also a member of the folk duo Pucha! and the Latin American dance music group Yacaré Baby.
His music is based on Argentine and Latin American folk roots with jazz and urban sounds. He also participated in numerous projects and collaborations for other artists and sang with some of the most important folk artists in Argentina such as Jaime Torres, Juan Falú and Peteco Carabajal, among others.
Gustavo toured Argentina giving workshops and concerts and participated in the most important festivals. It was also presented on stages in New York, Paris, Asunción, Brussels, Barcelona and Dublin. His songs were by many famous artists such as El Chaqueño Palavecino.
His influences are: Argentine folklore, tango (music from the Río de la Plata), Latin American folklore, jazz and classical music.
