BBC Sounds is hiring an Assistant Producer to join its Editorial Metadata and Tools team. The role reports to the Head of Metadata for BBC Sounds and works in co-ordination with two other assistant producers.

The Editorial Metadata team works across the BBC audio portfolio to ensure production and commissioning teams have the tools and training they need to create high-quality metadata. The team’s ultimate goal is to help audiences discover the radio, music and podcasts that they love on BBC Sounds. The team also manages the BBC’s podcast service and is responsible for creating and syndicating all of the BBC’s podcast feeds.

The ideal candidate will love audio, care about contributing to the success of BBC Sounds, thrive on building strong working relationships, enjoy finding efficient ways of doing things and work with detail when problem solving.
