The Higher Ground Festival 2023, an event celebrating an all-female line-up of singer-songwriters and genre-defying acts, is set to take place at Roundhouse, Chalk Farm Road, NW1 8EH, on 15th July 2023. The festival will feature live performances from leading international artists, DJ sets, and other events throughout the day and night.

Headlining the festival are The Staves, known for their Americana and folk-inspired melodies as well as their captivating sibling harmonies. Also performing are The Orielles, who will present their latest work, Tableau (2022), accompanied by a live string section, showcasing their avant-garde, jazz-influenced expressionism.

Tawiah, a British alternative soul artist, will present a performance of her second album, Ertha (2022), supported by a live choir. Additionally, the festival will feature Irish singer-songwriter Aoife Nessa Frances, who blends indie folk and psychedelic pop in her music.

More artists are expected to be confirmed for the event soon. Tickets for the Higher Ground Festival 2023 are priced between £25 and £40, plus booking fees, and can be purchased through the festival's website. Event reminders can also be set up on the site for those interested in attending.
