2023 Writer in Residence Programme – Call for Female Musicians and Artists

The Red Line Book Festival, running from 16–22 October, have announced a five-week workshop series led by The Queenship Cypher collective, headed by the female-led creative agency, Alayex.

As part of the festival’s Writer in Residence programme for 2023, these workshops aim to empower female artists in the Irish music industry.

The Queenship Cypher programme will launch at Tallaght Library on 1st August at 4:30pm and is open to female MCs, producers, songwriters, dancers, and visual artists aged 18-25. The programme takes place at at Rua Red and Tallaght Library on 21, 28 September, 5, 12 October, culminating in a performance on 19 October.

The initiative focuses on career expansion, talent showcasing, and artistic development. The closing date for registration is 14th September.
