Join violin sensation Anton Jablokov as he returns to Ireland for a memorable performance with Swiss guitarist Stefano Mocetti. This unique fusion of blending violin and guitar in classical, traditional, and jazz music makes this duo truly dynamic.

Anton was born into a family of classical musicians in Bratislava. While Anton’s musical upbringing was classical, he is also a natural in Jazz, Gypsy, Folk and many other musical styles. At the age of 9 he discovered the music of Jazz Violin legend Stephane Grappelli and famous Hungarian Violinist Roby Lakatos and this led to many musical experiments at quite an early age.

Anton entered the State Conservatory of Music in Bratislava in 2004, followed by studies at Hochschule, Lucerne-Switzerland and Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen-Germany. He obtained his final Master’s degree – “Specialized Solo Performance” under the guidance of Sergej Krylov at the Conservatory of Music in Lugano-Switzerland. Alongside his studies, Anton won several international classical competitions.

He has developed his own unique virtuosic style while touring Europe since 2014 with his brother Violinist Vladimir and performances include appearances at the BBC Proms (Belfast), National Concert Hall (Dublin), and concerts with Katherine Jenkins.

In 2020 Anton founded a duo with guitarist Stefano Moccetti and he is very excited to bring this unique music combination, marrying violin and guitar to his Irish audiences.

The concert will include Spanish Dance – De Falla, Asturias, Hungarian Dance no 5, Danny Boy and Brazilian Song – Tico Tico No Fuba.
