The Barbican Centre’s Music Department is seeking a Senior Production Manager for a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of £46,050 to £51,530 (inclusive of Inner London Weighting). This role is pivotal in managing the pre-planning and operational delivery of music activities within the Concert Hall and associated venues, both onsite and offsite. The ideal candidate will possess a profound knowledge and interest in the arts, particularly in both classical and contemporary music, alongside an extensive understanding of the music industry.

Responsibilities include communicating operational needs across internal departments, managing a team of Production Managers and Production Coordinators, and ensuring the consistent quality of concert delivery. The role demands excellent multitasking and interpersonal skills, with occasional requirements for weekend and evening work.

Essential qualifications include extensive event management experience in a concert hall environment, a deep understanding of event production and technical delivery, and familiarity with the UK points-based visa system and Health and Safety legislation.
