Showcase Performance Applications

Showcase Performance Applications

Friday, 3 July 2020, 11.00pm

Ireland Music Week has announced that it will be going ahead with the international facing showcase and conference in October 2020. The showcase and conference will take place online across four days in October, with the music showcases taking place over three nights - Wednesday 7th, Thursday 8th and Friday 9th. The festival is calling now on Irish artists to apply to play.

As with so many other events, in these COVID19 times, IMW have adapted the event to suit current restrictions. In order to give 2020 applicants and showcasing artists the best possible opportunity to reach international music industry professionals, IMW are taking the festival , including the showcases, online. Rather than live stream the gigs, IMW will be pre recording the showcases in the first two weeks September and putting them out “as live” for the festival (October 6th-9th) each showcasing act will have three songs recorded and packaged which will air in online venues. The individual gig video will be given to you for use as a live recording after the event.

  • IMW only accept applications from artists living in Ireland or Irish artists living overseas. IMW do not accept applications from international artists.
  • The deadline for applications is Friday July 3rd 2020 at 23.59pm
  • If you have been successful, you will be notified by email in early August 2020.
  • The showcases will be prerecorded in the first two weeks of September. Please make sure you are available.
  • Showcases will be streamed on Wednesday 7th, Thursday 8th and Friday 9th of October.
