CMC Ireland and Chamber Choir Ireland are delighted to launch a call for participants in Choral Sketches 2024.

Choral Sketches is a professional development opportunity for composers who wish to deepen their experience in writing for choir.

Over the course of the programme, composers will develop their ideas and have their musical sketches workshopped by Ireland’s national chamber choir.

The composers will receive mentorship from renowned composer Rhona Clarke and benefit from peer learning and feedback from the Chamber Choir Ireland singers and their conductor.

This programme is open to all composers born or based on the island of Ireland. We particularly encourage composers from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds to apply.

Submissions close at 5pm, on 7 March 2024.
