New call for applications! Are you a current member or recent alumni of the Ulster Youth Orchestra and want to be HRSE’s Featured Young Artist next season? Apply by 1st September 2023.

Our Featured Young Artist will receive specialist coaching in contemporary chamber music through participation in rehearsals, workshops and will also have the opportunity to perform in concert with Hard Rain SoloistEnsemble. We welcome applications from any instrumentalist (over 18, as of October 2023) with an interest in exploring the performance of contemporary music.

To apply, email [email protected] with your full name, instrument and a short paragraph explaining why you want to avail of this opportunity and we will allocate you an audition slot. Auditions take place on Sunday 10th September and we would ask that two short pieces are prepared, including at least one from the contemporary repertoire.
