Kilkenny Arts Festival is taking place from 10th to 20th August 2023, marking the 50th iteration of the event. The festival’s programme includes a diverse array of live performances with opportunities for ticket bundle discounts for indoor shows.

As part of the festival, the Marble City Sessions will be presented, featuring musicians such as Martin Hayes and Friends. The Festival finale, which is set to take place on 19th August 2023 at 7.30 pm at St Canice’s Cathedral, will include Martin Hayes leading an eclectic gathering of Festival artists. Notable participants include fiddle player Aoife Ní Bhriain, Scottish piper Brìghde Chaimbeul, dancer Colin Dunne, cellist Kate Ellis, and pianist Cormac McCarthy. The performance will last approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, including an interval.
