The Creative Youth on a Shared Island Funding Scheme, part of the Creative Ireland Programme, is currently open for applications. This initiative aims to foster creative opportunities for young people across Ireland, promoting collaboration, understanding, and hope for the future through creative mediums.

The scheme welcomes project proposals from partnerships with significant scale and ambition, involving at least one partner from each jurisdiction in Ireland. The objective is to engage young people, particularly focusing on seldom-heard children and youth, through the creative, cultural, arts, community, and youth sectors.

Key Details:
Grant funding: Up to €180,000 for at least 3 projects.
Project duration: June 2024 to December 2025.
Eligibility: Partnerships with at least one partner based in each jurisdiction.

Applications are to be submitted by 5pm on 25th March 2024.

Additionally, Creative Ireland will hold three information and networking sessions to present the fund and facilitate partnerships. These sessions will be held online and in-person in Belfast and Dublin, with registration links available on the Creative Ireland website.

This funding scheme is part of the Shared Island initiative, a government priority underpinned by the Good Friday Agreement, aimed at engaging all communities and political traditions in building a shared future on the island.
