Irish/Irish based singers are invited to apply for Handel’s Semele and Nyman’s The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat.

 G.F. Handel’s Semele
With Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin In partnership with Kilkenny Arts Festival.
Christian Curnyn, conductor. Patrick Mason, director.
Rehearsals for this professional engagement will begin on 6 July 2020.
Performances – Kilkenny 6, 7 & 9 August; Dublin 4 & 5 September 2020

Michael Nyman’s The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat 
In association with Killaloe Chamber Music Festival.
Stephen Barlow, conductor.
This professional engagement will run from 30 May – 5 June 2020.

Audition dates: 5 & 6 October 2019.
Repertoire requirements: Three contrasting arias at least one of which must be in English. Please specify for which opera you wish to be considered (Handel and/or Nyman). Singers wishing to be considered for Semele must include a recitative & aria by Handel. Applications with a current CV and recent sound recording to be sent by email auditions [at] operacollectiveireland.com
