Artistic Administrator
Glyndebourne is seeking an experienced Artistic Administrator with a background in classical music or theatre. This role involves supporting the Director and the Artistic Administration department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and attending auditions, issuing contracts for music staff, singers, conductors and chorus, and ensuring visa documentation is in order. Additionally, they will manage budget forecasts and provide administrative support including diary management and liaison duties.
Essential requirements include significant experience in a PA or administration role within a classical music or theatre organisation, strong IT skills, and an in-depth knowledge of opera and classical music.
The role offers a salary ranging from £35,000 to £37,000 annually, and includes benefits such as 28 days holiday (increasing with service), on-site amenities, and a minibus service to and from Lewes railway station.
