The Irish Writers Centre, in collaboration with the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, is accepting applications for the Jack Harte Bursary 2024. This bursary provides a one-week Writer-in-Residence opportunity at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in County Monaghan during 2024. The residency offers access to the centre’s grounds, library, and communal spaces. Accommodation, equipped with a writing desk, and all meals will be provided.

Eligibility criteria include being over 18, residing in Ireland, and having at least one published book of fiction or short stories. Priority is given to fiction works and professional members of the Irish Writers Centre. Applications from diverse backgrounds are encouraged.

Application requires a cover letter, updated CV, samples of recent work, and project details. Submit all documents in one Word or PDF attachment to projects [at] irishwriterscentre.ie by October 18, 2023, 5:00pm.
