The Edinburgh International Festival invites applications for the position of Publications Officer. This fixed-term, full-time role, running from March to 20 September 2024, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the festival’s mission of presenting an unparalleled celebration of the performing arts. The successful applicant will project manage the production, printing, and distribution of printed materials such as souvenir programmes and freesheets, integral to the festival’s contextualising plan.

Working closely with the Copywriter, the role involves commissioning and editing content, liaising with artists and various departments for content sourcing, coordinating with the Design Team for briefing and proofing, and collaborating with the Audience Experience Team on distribution strategies. This position requires a blend of project management, editorial, and interpersonal skills to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality printed materials to festival audiences.

The salary for this role is between £25,000 and £27,000 per annum, pro-rata. Applications close at 9am on Friday, 23 February 2024, with interviews scheduled for Wednesday, 28 February 2024.
