DAVID LYTTLE, FEAT SOWETO KINCH AND DUKE SPECIAL [David Lyttle: Drums, Soweto Kinch: Sax/MC, Kaidi Tatham: piano, Conor Chaplin: bass, Anne Lyttle: Vocals, Duke Special: vocals]

David Lyttle has been described by Hot Press as a “one-man industry” for his work as a musician, producer, songwriter and record label owner. 2013 was an extremely busy year for the Co. Armagh-born musician, with dates in Los Angeles and London promoting his latest album ‘Interlude’ and exciting developments within LYTE Records (including signing jazz icons Jason Rebello and Jean Toussaint).

Currently working on the follow-up to the R&B crossover album ‘Interlude’, which was described as “extraordinary” by Time Out and “exceptional” by MOBO, the untitled record is set to feature a range of major artists from a range of genres. A veritable Renaissance man of modern music, David’s seemingly endless list of talents defying easy categorization, drawing on inspiration from all forms and working with some of the most exiting and versatile musicians around.

This unique gig will feature award winning alto-saxophonist and MC Soweto Kinch. One of the most gifted young musicians in both the British jazz and hip hop scenes, Soweto has amassed an impressive list of accolades and awards on both sides of the Atlantic, including a Mercury Music Prize nomination, two UMA Awards and 2 MOBOs. David will also feature the incredible songwriter/performer Duke Special, one of Belfast’s most celebrated musical exports, in what promises to be a truly unforgettable night of music.
