National Lottery Minority Ethnic Artists Mentoring & Residency Programme

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland is inviting applications for its National Lottery Minority Ethnic Artists Mentoring & Residency Programme, with a deadline of 31 August 2023 at 12pm. The scheme offers mentoring and residency opportunities designed to support artists and creative practitioners from minority ethnic and migrant backgrounds at every stage of their career. Artists from all disciplines and types of working practice, creative practitioners, arts administrators, and emerging artists fitting these criteria are encouraged to apply.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to undertake specialised training, research, cultural exchanges, networking, and learning tailored to their needs. Eligible costs covered by the programme include project assistance, art materials, equipment, training course fees, venue hire, translation costs, and more.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, not in secondary education, live in Northern Ireland, and have contributed to artistic activities in Northern Ireland for a minimum of 1 year within the last 5 years. Applications are to be submitted online and the necessary documents must be uploaded before the deadline.
