The Irish Writers Centre (IWC) has opened a call for expressions of interest for the position of Treasurer on its Board of Directors. The selected individual will play a pivotal role in leading the Board’s activities in alignment with the 2022–26 strategy. Applicants with a passion for the Arts and an affinity for Ireland’s literary landscape are encouraged to apply.

Eligible candidates should possess expertise in one or more of the following areas, while also considering the balance of gender, diversity, and age:
Financial reporting
– Financial planning and budgeting
– Statutory accounts audit
– Tax
– Fundraising
– A recognised qualification in accountancy.

Potential candidates with prior employment or future aspirations to work with IWC should be aware that all Board members, including writers, serve voluntarily and won’t receive compensation for their term as a Board director.
