The Blackwater Valley Opera Festival Recital Series returns for 2024 as part of Ireland’s Summer Opera Festival, and will take place across a broad range of venues in the area.

Blackwater Valley Opera Festival is delighted to partner with the Princess Grace Irish Library in the principality of Monaco, and the Royal Irish Academy of Music for this unique cultural event, honouring Ireland’s literary history, as part of the BVOF Irish Writers’ Series.

Hear selected texts of Oscar Wilde: Irish poet, playwright and author, in this fusion of poetry and music delivered by some of Ireland’s brightest and most outstanding young musicians from the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

In partnership with Princess Grace Irish Library in Monaco – under the aegis of the Fondation Princess Grace.

Booking is now open for all festival events at BVOF 2024 with tickets for all performances now available. This year's festival runs from 27 May - 3 June, with 22 events at 11 venues across 8 days.
