The Musicians Union is hiring a Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Officer.

The ED&I Officer will work with and support the Head of ED&I in all aspects of their role including assisting in developing a more integrated approach to ED&I across the MU and the music industry.

The ED&I Officer will provide advice and guidance to colleagues, members, and organisations. A key aspect of the role will focus on research; analysing, interpreting, and summarizing the data received and presenting it in both written and oral forms.

The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the music industry with a specific interest in ED&I issues and how they impact musicians.

This post is offered on a full time, permanent basis and can be carried out anywhere in the UK with hybrid working from home and one of MU offices (Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, London). Travel around the UK for meetings will be required.
