Darren Kiely has announced a headline performance at The Academy Dublin, scheduled for Friday, 31st May 2024.

Originating from County Cork, Kiely’s musical style is a fusion of traditional Irish influences and contemporary folk-pop, drawing inspiration from artists such as The Lumineers and Dermot Kennedy.

Tickets for the Dublin show will be available from Friday, 17th November, at 10 am, with prices starting at €23.05, including a booking fee.

Kiely's musical journey began at a young age, starting with the tin whistle at five and progressing to the fiddle at eight. He later taught himself guitar and ventured into singing in 2019, quickly gaining recognition for his passionate vocal style.

In 2022, Kiely expanded his horizons by moving to New York to further develop his music. Since then he has three appearances on Ireland's top 50 viral charts with singles "How Could You Love Me," "Ella," and "Time To Leave."

Independently, Kiely has amassed over 3 million global streams and has successfully sold out headline shows at venues like Rockwood Music Hall and Mercury Lounge in New York. Currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee, he continues to work on new music, with fresh releases expected this year.
