Music Current Festival is recruiting volunteers to take part in a performance with Nadar Ensemble on April 5th at Music Current Festival 2024 at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin.

If you would like to volunteer to take part in this performance you do not need any musical experience, but musicians are of course also welcome. You will receive full instruction from Pieter Matthynssens, Nadar Ensemble Artistic Director. You will not be on stage, but will take part in the performance with 15 other volunteers from your position amongst the audience in a darkened auditorium.

Formed in 2006 in Belgium, Nadar Ensemble is an interdisciplinary and adventurous new music ensemble who have pioneered new technologies and forms of musical presentation at festivals and concert halls world-wide. As part of their performance at the Music Current Festival, Nadar is inviting volunteers to take part in a performance of a work by composer Serge Verstockt, DRIE.

Participation in this performance will include two 2-hour rehearsals with Nadar Ensemble, taking place on the 4th and 5th of April, with the performance taking place at 8pm on April 5th. Drinks and refreshments will be provided on both days and participants will also receive complimentary tickets to the the Black Page Orchestra concert on 4th of April at the Project Arts Centre.
