Phelim is delighted to be back at The Whale for this summer night with a "top of the bus" band:

The incomparable Anto Drennan on guitar. A master of his craft who has explored his innate
musicality through working alongside Moving Hearts, Chris Rea, Mike and the Mechanics, The
Corrs and a thousand recordings where you went “Who. Is. That?!!”. Well, it was probably
Anto.

Chris Greene on double bass, whose playing, seemingly effortlessly, evokes the spiritual
backbone of Rockabilly, Blues, Americana and Irish Traditional music.

Kevin Malone on drums, who breathes life musically through his body exuding rhythms that
seem to make time stand still. A gifted poet with a mesmerising delivery, he is spellbinding.

The evening will celebrate a journey of the past few years collecting spoken word and a wealth of music from both sides of the Atlantic
interspersed with ‘the bants’ exploring the wonderful world of Malapropisms among other amusements intended to feed the hungry heart.

We look forward to bringing our collective for what will be a special night in downtown Greystones.
