Josh O’Keefe is set to perform at the Spirit Store in Dundalk on Thursday, 17 August 2023. The event will commence at 8:00 PM, and there is no entry fee or requirement for tickets.

O’Keefe, originally from a location 4,115 miles from Nashville, has since made the city his residence. His musical journey spans various genres, traditions, and disciplines. Throughout his career, O’Keefe’s songs have been recorded by artists such as Ashley Monroe and High Valley.

He has previously performed in various locations including California, New York, Nashville, London, and Glasgow. Notably, O’Keefe shared the stage with Kris Kristofferson at London’s Kenwood House, in front of an audience of 10,000, in honour of Kristofferson’s birthday. He has also collaborated with other notable artists such as Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Alison Krauss, and Rufus Wainwright. O’Keefe participated in a ‘Virtual Town Hall Meeting’ with Bernie Sanders and has taken part in events supporting causes like the Black Lives Matter movement. He also performed at the site of the 2017 Grenfell Tower fire in West London.

After leaving school at 16, O’Keefe lived in various locations, including London and Brighton, often residing in recording studios and music venues. His musical journey took him to America, where he began writing songs prolifically. He has been part of major music festivals like the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, Black Deer Festival, and Glastonbury Festival.
