Prom 46: Manchester Collective: Neon

On the schedule for the upcoming Proms, the Manchester Collective is set to present an array of pieces by contemporary composers at the Royal Albert Hall. The concert, titled “Neon”, will feature compositions from Steve Reich, Hannah Peel, David Lang, Oliver Leith, and Ben Nobuto.

The programme for the evening is as follows:

“Neon” by Hannah Peel, with a duration of 11 minutes.
SERENITY 2.0” by Ben Nobuto, lasting 13 minutes.
Oliver Leith’s take on the “Fantasie from Suite No. 5 in G minor”, which has a runtime of 5 minutes.
David Lang’s “Mystery Sonata No. 7, ‘Glory’”, set for 8 minutes.
The evening will conclude with Steve Reich’s “Double Sextet”, spanning 23 minutes.

Rakhi Singh will be performing on the violin and also serving as the director for the Manchester Collective during this concert.
