The Midwinter Festival FAURÉ is scheduled to present an evening of music from Gabriel Fauré’s middle period, covering the years 1885 to 1895. This concert will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 7:30 pm in The Hardiman Ballroom, a venue noted for its commitment to classical music events.

The programme will feature Michel Dalberto and Finghin Collins, both on piano, alongside baritone Benoît Capt, and the esteemed ConTempo Quartet. The selection of pieces includes Fauré’s “Thema & Variations for piano in C sharp minor, Op. 73,” a set of selected songs from his second period, “Cinq Mélodies de Venise, Op. 58,” the “Dolly Suite for piano duet, Op. 56,” and the “Piano Quintet No. 1 in D minor, Op. 89.”
