Cork County Council is inviting applications for a bursary enabling a two-week residency at Ballinglen Arts Foundation, Co. Mayo. This opportunity is available annually to artists of any discipline who are current residents of Cork county. The residency is designed to support and enhance the creative practice of the recipient.

Interested artists can gain insights into the bursary and the residency scheme through two information sessions organised by Cork County Council’s Arts Office. These sessions are scheduled for 30 November 2023, focusing on the Bursary and Residency Scheme, and 17 November 2023, dedicated to Arts Grants Information. Registrations for these sessions can be made by emailing arts [at] corkcoco.ie.

In an effort to make the application process more inclusive, Cork County Council is accepting video/audio submissions via their online portal for the first time. The Arts Office is available to provide additional support to applicants requiring special accessibility assistance.

Applications are open from 10 November 2023 and will close on 9 January 2024. Detailed guidelines and further application information are accessible online.
