Sony Music is hiring a Studio Manager to be based in Culver City, California.

The studio’s success will count on the studio manager’s understanding of the unique demands of each session. Sony is looking to hire an individual with strong interpersonal skills who is flexible and capable to meet with the demands of the technology and client interface.

Who you are:
– BA/BS in Recording Arts, Communications, Business; or equivalent combination of education and experience
– 3 – 5 years relevant experience; previous studio experience, both managerial and technical, preferred
– Demonstrated experience effectively managing scheduled and budgets
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Self-starting, resourceful collaborator with strong ability to identify problems and create solutions
– Detail oriented and strong follow-through skills
– Proficient in Microsoft suite
– Familiarity with studio equipment and knowledge of new music technology, equipment and trends a plus
