University of Atypical for Arts and Disability (UofA) is seeking a freelance Administration Assistant. The position entails overseeing general administration responsibilities within the office and Atypical Gallery.

The role will have an expected working pattern of 20 hours per week, distributed across four days from Monday to Friday. The freelance temporary contract will initially last for six months, with the possibility of extension contingent upon securing further funding. The Administration Assistant will report to the Head of Business Administration and will be based in an office located at Belfast’s Royal Avenue.

Prospective candidates are expected to possess organisational skills and a proactive approach. A minimum of two years’ experience in administration, office management, or resource and service management is required. The role will involve communication with the public through phone calls, emails, and engagement with visitors to the building. Therefore, the ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with others. Strong administrative and computer skills are essential for this position. The role demands the ability to work independently, contribute ideas, and exhibit problem-solving capabilities.
