For the last decade, at the end of October, downtown Dartmouth hosts the ReJigged Festival, with some of the finest talents and scholars in Atlantic Canadian and international Celtic music and culture. This year, we’re expanding our reach and broadcasting three days of FREE streamed concerts, and online workshops from Oct. 23 to 25. The daily concerts can be viewed on the ReJigged website, Facebook page and YouTube channel, free of charge.

TUNE MAKERS CONCERT: The online performances begin on Friday, Oct. 23, with The Tune Makers Concert, livestreamed from the Music Room at 7:30 p.m. (Atlantic Time) with fiddler and multi-instrumentalist Rachel Davis and Darren McMullin (also known as half of the group Còig), singer and fiddler Rosie MacKenzie, guitarist Brian Doyle and dancers Melody Cameron from Cape Breton and Kieran Jordan from Boston.

AUTUMN LIGHTS CONCERT: ReJigged gets even more international with Saturday, Oct. 24’s Autumn Light Sessions, featuring Irish artists Eleanor Shanley, Cormac Begley and Aoife Scott, plus Kevin Crawford with Colin Farrell and Patrick Doocey from Irish folk band Lúnasa. From the U.K. comes guitarist Tim Edey and Shetland/Norway fiddler Kevin Henderson, plus American guests Joey Abarta and dancers Matt Olwell and Jackie O’Riley, who perform with Canada’s Yaëlle Azoulay. Also from Canada, Alberta Métis fiddler Brianna Lizotte and Cape Breton favourites Wendy MacIsaac and Andrea Beaton conclude the impressive Saturday lineup.
