Organ Recital Series - Aleksandr Nisse

Aleksandr Nisse is the organist in Whitefriar St and presents a colourful and varied programme on this fine Kenneth Jones organ.  
Of Russian, French and German background Aleks received his early training as an organist in Hamburg at the hands of his father and his late aunt, Danielle Salvignol-Nisse,  a student of Langlais and Litaise.  In 1999 he moved to Paris to study with Susan Landale, and from 2001 to 2004 he was a student of Louis Robilliard at the Consevatoire National de Region de Lyon where he was awarded the Premier Prix de Perfectionment with distinction.  Graduate study followed at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Nicholas Kynaston and Lionel Rogg where he graduated with distinction.  Recitals to date have taken him to Germany, France, Switzerland and Hungary.
