Galway Community Circus is recruiting an Executive Director to spearhead the organisation’s efforts in advancing circus arts education and participation, in alignment with their 2023–2027 strategic plan titled ‘Creating Magic Together’. The chosen candidate will report to the Board of Trustees, and be responsible for realising artistic, strategic, and business goals, leading change, and fostering collaboration among staff, board members, and stakeholders.

The role offers a salary of €55,000 annually and reports to the Board of Trustees. The position is a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, based in Galway City, Ireland, at the Galway Community Circus office. It allows for hybrid working with flexibility in hours and the option for remote work under specific conditions. The post comes with a three-year contract after a six-month probation period.
