Dead Men Walking (DMW) are a Supergroup with members from Stiff Little Fingers, The Ruts and Spear of Destiny. They play Whelan’s Main Venue on Tuesday 23rd of January in a celebration of punk, rock and alternative styles. It’s the start of their Irish tour.

In the past Dead Men Walking have been joined on stage by members from The Clash, The Pogues, Guns ‘n’ Roses and The Cult and even Lemmy from Motorhead.

Founding DMW member Kirk Brandon (Spear of Destiny/Theatre of Hate) has been joined once again by heralded rhythm section Segs and Ruffy from The Ruts on acoustic bass, percussion and vocals, completing the line up Jake Burns, legendary frontman of Stiff Little Fingers.

With a massive catalogue of songs to choose from this amazing DMW line up has delivered a raw stripped back interpretation of a whole host of classic tracks from their respective iconic albums and singles. A few surprise cover versions and even a brand new song or two has been included. They also have a debut studio album out now: ‘Freedom- It Ain’t On The Rise’.

Dead Men Walking are a UK-based rock band with a multi-national line up, who have toured the UK, Ireland and the USA. They have released three albums: Live At Guildford (2001), Live At Leeds (2003) and Live At Darwen (2004).
