Ardán, formerly known as Galway Film Centre, is looking for an enthusiastic Communications Executive with at least 2 years of experience to coordinate internal administration and engage with new audiences across its initiatives and opportunities. This is an opportunity to work as part of a small team to streamline internal communications, develop a public engagement strategy, and support content, editing, and marketing tasks.

The Communications Executive will be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks, content editing and proofing, ongoing public engagement work, coordinating with partners and the press for effective PR and marketing strategies, and coordinating with contractors for photography, videography, and merchandise for nationwide events.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communications and IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, administration skills, including editorial experience, and experience in fostering relationships with the public to develop the industry talent base. An understanding of the arts/cultural sector with an interest in film and TV production is desirable. Knowledge and experience working with social media, content platforms, and PR is also a plus.
