Senior Academic Administrator
BIMM University in London is seeking a Senior Academic Administrator. The successful candidate will contribute to the provision of high-quality academic administrative support for BIMM Institute London undergraduate and postgraduate courses, which includes excellent administration of course-level data, exams, and assessments, and providing high levels of customer service.
The Senior Academic Administrator will be responsible for working collaboratively with various stakeholders, including academic course teams, lecturers, and other departments within the college. They should be able to respond to correspondence in a professional, personable, and efficient manner, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and enjoy working to clear processes.
The ideal candidate will be IT literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They should have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels with a wide range of stakeholders, be highly organised, and able to work independently to deadlines.
Desirable criteria include a broad knowledge and/or understanding of further/higher education academic administration, systems, and processes, experience and/or understanding of management information systems, and experience arranging, scheduling, or overseeing assessments. While a first degree or equivalent is not essential, it is desirable.
