Join us for a walk through the picturesque Bee-Wise nature trail here in Kilmessan, Co. Meath with a talk by beekeeper Paddy Gorman. View the honeybees in the large observational hive and see the inside of a working hive through the glass.

After complimentary refreshments (Mead from Kinsale Mead) we'll view a short film about bees, their history in Irish folklore and religion, the issues they face and what we can do to help. The film will be accompanied by newly composed traditional Irish music by Brenda Castles and played by Brenda(concertina), Erin Hennessy(violin) and Tony Byrne(guitar).
