Trinity College Dublin invites applications for an Associate Professor in Music within the School of Creative Arts. This permanent position seeks a candidate with an established international reputation in teaching and research, preferably with a focus on musicology. Responsibilities include contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, interdisciplinary curricular teaching, supervision, mentoring, and taking on leadership roles within the Discipline, School, Faculty, and College.

Candidates must demonstrate excellence in research, teaching, and academic administration, with a strong track record in third-level teaching, research, publication, and outreach activities. The role also requires active engagement in research and music-related outreach initiatives, both nationally and internationally, and the pursuit of external funding opportunities.

Essential qualifications include a record of excellence in music education and research, with experience in supervising students from undergraduate to doctoral levels. The successful candidate will also play a role in enhancing the Discipline of Music's links with external partners and will be expected to articulate a clear vision for the development of their field within the university and beyond.
