Volunteers are at the core of what we do in First Fortnight. Social change makers who spread the message, challenge stigma and generously give their time to help out behind the scenes and front of house to make First Fortnight what it is today.

Each year our flock of festivalistas help up us run over 100 events across the country. In January 2020, we will be continuing on with this in most of the counties in Ireland.

Want to be part of First Fortnight 2020?

We welcome volunteers from all ages, occupations, identities and backgrounds. Our volunteers form an enthusiastic, committed family we like to call the House of First Fortnightdom.

The volunteer induction will take place early December but I will email about it separately and request your availability for the festival then.
