Cork 2020 Haydn Symphonies Series
The ascent of music’s Everest continues in Cork!
The second of this ten-year, fifty-concert series provides you with the opportunity to hear Symphony No. 30 in C major (“Alleluja”) - with trumpets and drums making their first appearance - and the first of three symphonies he wrote for London in 1782: No. 76 in E flat major. The orchestra is led by Liz Charleson and conducted by Geoff Spratt.
The opening concert last month attracted a greater-than-capacity audience - get there early if you want to be sure of a seat! Admission: €10 (All concessions: €5) by programme, available only at the door on the day.
