The BBC Sounds Music Team is hiring a Social Media Manager.

The Social Media Manager will report to the Assistant Commissioner, Pop Music and play a leading role in developing BBC Sounds’ reputation as a destination for distinct and compelling music content. This role is a creative and commissioning position within the team, leading on the development and delivery of perception-shifting and timeline-dominating social content that communicates the BBC Sounds On Demand Music offer to our audiences. The successful candidate will work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to do this, including various social media agencies and content production companies.

Are you the right candidate?
The successful candidate will lead the way in developing social formats that will drive audiences to BBC Sounds and transform its formats into popular music brands. The role requires a keen understanding of how audiences use social media and a clear enthusiasm and passion for music.
