Thursday, 7 November 2024, 8.00pm

Sreang Dhofheicthe is a special weave of songs from Taylor Swift’s critically acclaimed albums, folkore and evermore, with their intertwined narratives of life and love in a small American town. The beautiful aural landscapes of these albums will be recreated live by Róisín Seoighe X IMLÉ. The lyrics have been rendered into beautiful Irish by Gabriel Rosenstock, with screen projections by artist Margaret Lonergan. And expect some surprise greatest hits selections too!

Róisín Seoighe is a musician and singer from Connemara. Her music ranges from pop and folk to traditional music. Róisín began her musical journey as a sean-nós singer. She has worked with popular artists such as Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh and John Spillane. With IMLÉ she has performed many of their most popular tracks such as ÉAD and Do Chuid Jeans.

IMLÉ are a collective of musicians under the stewardship of musician and producer Cian MacCárthaigh. IMLÉ mix different musical styles and artforms together in a way that has never heard before in the Irish language sphere. Their second album FÁILTE ISTEACH is available now. IMLÉ are preparing to release a brand new EP in Autumn 2024 with Róisín Seoighe, they are also excited to be taking on the Taylor Swift project with IMRAM, where the line-up will also include multi-instrumentalist Neil Ó Briain.
