Sunday, 9 August 2020, 11.00pm

National Opera Studio is seeking an imaginative, motivated individual to join our team, to look after our external-facing communications, develop new audiences for our work both live and online, and deliver high-quality and compelling digital and print content to showcase our Young Artists and the work of the Studio in general.

You will be happy to work collaboratively as part of a small team, as well as to work under your own initiative to develop new ideas and ways of working, developing effective relationships within the opera sector and beyond.

The Digital and Communications Manager manages the external-facing functions of the National Opera Studio. This role is responsible for creating and delivering a Marketing, PR and Communications Plan, and overseeing any staff involved in carrying out the plan.

This role works closely with the Head of Philanthropy and the Chief Executive to ensure consistent messaging across the organisation. The Digital and Communications Manager is responsible for the marketing and sales for all internal and external events.

This role is also responsible for maintaining and evolving internal systems that have external-facing functions - overseeing the marketing and bookings systems management of our website and CRM, including auditions, short courses and venue hire. It is also integral in the implementation of digital programmes and marketing output, adapting to the post COVID-19 society.
