Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Arts Office is inviting applications for a funding opportunity aimed at professional artists specialising in socially engaged and collaborative arts. Open to all art forms, the initiative aims to support artists representing the diverse spectrum of Irish society.

Two artists will be awarded €10,000 each for the period of 2023/24 to develop their expertise in engaging with communities within the county. The primary focus is on the artistic development of the individual, allowing them time and resources to work with communities of place (e.g., a local group) or interest (e.g., a hobby group). While final artistic products such as performances or exhibitions are not mandatory outcomes, they could emerge from the project.
