About WhistleBlast Quartet
WhistleBlast is a well-known and highly active group of professional musicians, rolling out multiple programmes, including school composition projects, recordings, music training and tours. See www.whistleblastquartet.com to know our work.
Key functions:
These include but are not limited to:
- Day to day administrative support and reporting.
- Research and assistance with funding applications.
- Administrative support with touring and projects, including communicating with venues, press releases…
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking.
- Regular update of website.
- Maintain and regularly update contact databases.
- Stay up to date with research, funding and opportunities relevant to the Quartet in Ireland and abroad.
Person specification
Essential:
- Ability to work independently and use initiative in management tasks
- An interest in and knowledge of music in Ireland, including familiarity with Arts Council applications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Strong computer skills – with experience of MS Office and Squarespace
Desirable:
- ICT skills: Adobe package, image and video editing software.
This position is remote and with a flexible timetable. Meetings with director will be held when required.
Rate of pay: 6-10 hours per week with gradual increase. Hourly rate 20€
